Honmor Precision Aluminum CNC Milled Parts made in China are those high-precision aluminum parts processed by CNC milling technology, which is a kind of process where rotating cutting tools remove material from aluminum workpieces to form a complex 3D shapes, holes, grooves, or multi-face structures. Different from turned parts(focus on rotational geometries), milled parts are excellent in processing irregular or flat-featured components, such as laptop’s cases, automotive battery trap and industrial equipment brackets. Honmor adapts high-grade aluminum alloy and advanced 3-axis/5-axis CNC lathes to produce aluminum milled parts. These equipment feature high-speed spindles and precision linear guides which can achieve tight tolerance of ±0.02mm and surface roughness Ra0.8 and surface treatment like anodizing, sandblasting, or laser engraving can be offered to meet functional and aesthetic demand simultaneously. Therefore, whether you want to customize small-batch of precision milled aluminum parts for prototype development or purchase large-batch of components for mass production, Honmor is able to provide customized solution which can balance precision, cost, and delivery time, simplifying the procurement process of milled aluminum parts.

Core Advantages

Lightweight design for weight-sensitive applications

With feature of low density(1/3 that of steel), aluminum milled parts are ideal for industries where weight reduction is important(such as new energy vehicles and portable electronics). For example, Hommor’s AW 6061-T6 milled parts, which offer a tensile strength of 310Mpa, meeting the structural need while reducing component weight by 60% compared to steel equivalents. A Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer sourced 6061-T6 aluminum battery trays from Honmor: these Precision Aluminum CNC Milled Parts weighed 8kg, 5kg lighter than steel trays, improving the vehicle’s battery range by 12km. When customers are to purchase components for weight-sensitive applications from Honmor, the engineers will provide the best recommendations of alloy grade and optimize geometry to further reduce weight without compromising rigidity.

Multi-face processing for complex shapes

CNC milling technology is able to process multiple face in one setup, eliminating repeated clamping errors, especially suitable for complex aluminum CNC milled parts. Honmor’s 5-axis CNC milling machines (DMG MORI CMX 600V) can tilt the workpiece at any angle (0-360°), allowing cutting tools to reach hidden features (e.g., inclined holes, curved grooves) that 3-axis machines cannot. For example, a consumer electronics client needed a 7075-T6 aluminum laptop top cover with 12 inclined ventilation holes (30° angle) and a ribbed internal structure: Honmor’s 5-axis milled parts completed all features in 20 minutes per piece, compared to 45 minutes with 3-axis machining (which required 2 clamping steps). This efficient feature shorten production cycles by 40% for complex parts, which help customers meet tight market launch deadline when they are in large needs.

Customized surface treatment for divers needs

Honmor provide customized surface treatment for Precision Aluminum CNC Milled Parts to enhance function and aesthetics. For outdoor equipment, anodizing(Type II/III) generate a wear-resistant oxide layer that will enhance corrosion resistance a lot. Sandblasting gives parts a matte finish, hiding minor scratches and matching consumer electronics’ design language (e.g., smart speaker casings). Laser engraving can add logos or serial number to achieve traceability of products. A European smart home manufacturer customized 5052-H32 sensor housings made of aluminum from Honmor, these aluminum CNC milled parts underwent Type II anodizing (black) and laser engraving, the layer produced by anodizing passed 500-hour salt spray test and the engraving content remain clear after 10,000 touches. This customization ability helps clients differentiate their products in competitive markets.
